You can stop full file comparison while it is in progress simply by pressing the ESC key. Let's try it out, using the same CSV files as in the previous blog post on table comparison.
For advanced users, the thread priority can be modified in Options | Directory Comparison | Other | Background thread. Parallel full comparison addresses this issue. Full content file comparison is a powerful feature, but it can take a long time, especially when comparing large directories with many files.
